Valencia is a great city. I was very surprised at how much there is to see and do. Then you also have la Costa Blanca nearby with alot of beautiful towns. Better climate than Barcelona as well. But if it was my first time in Spain I would experience the countries 2 most important cities. Madrid and Barcelona. Leave Valencia for another time.
